The San Antonio based Shields of Christ ACTS will host its second Men’s and first Women's retreats for those in Municipal, County, State and Federal Law Enforcement, Fire and Paramedics. It is open to active and retired personnel throughout the Rio Grande Valley. With the blessing of the Diocese of Brownsville.

The next Men's retreat will take place at the Basilica Retreat Center located in San Juan, Texas, on May 23 – 26, 2019.

The First Women's Retreat is scheduled for October 17th-20th, 2019 to be held at the Holy Spirit Retreat Center, located at 2201 Martin Ave. in McAllen, TX 78504.
